4 pc. 18TH CENTURY FRENCH WEDDING SET - OOAK
* French gown sewn in the late 18th Century style of ivory silk dupioni that is pintucked into diamond shapes with pearly bead accents. Handmade antique lace flounces at neckline and sleeves. Swarovski AB rhinestones and vintage silken corded trim with pearly beads at bodice neckline and sleeves. Back of gown is bustled with antique corset cording and hand-twisted eyelet loops. Front hook closure.
*Underskirt of gathered silk edged with more of the handmade antique lace. Attached vintage lace skirt drape beaded with several size pearly beads, clear glass seed beads and Swarovski cystals. Skirt fastens at waistband back with hook and eye.
* Ivory tulle veil with satin ribbon streamers, lace rosette and pearly beads and clear glass seed beads
* Ivory stretch stockings with flounce of handmade antique lace and bow trim

Please note: If this garment is made from vintage or antique fabrics or laces, please be aware that many of the vintage and antique lace fragments used to make these doll fashions are precious and irreplaceable -- some were finely hand-embroidered by skilled hands more than 125 years ago -- a skilled craft long gone and one never to be repeated in the years ahead. The antique pieces are a variety of fibers including silk, linen and cotton. As with anything over a century old, they bear a few aged characteristics, including vintage darning and mending, and are inherently delicate. Handle with special care. The vintage pieces also can show their age and should also be handled with care. They may consist of silk, rayon, cotton, linen, nylon or other synthetic fibers. Also, the aged fibers may accept fabric dye unevenly.
